From there I assembled some patches to be placed in the level. The texture would be coloured in-engine.
I brought it in engine and after a bunch of tweaking I ended up with the result below.
I'm not at all pleased with the grass at this stage. After talking to some other students and looking at more reference, I realise I have made my texture too bunched and the grass too tufty. I'm going to give the grass a break for a bit to work on trees and terrain textures, but I hope to come back to the grass to improve it later.
